In today’s business environment the only constant is change, making the ability to communicate and lead change whilst managing our own reactions a key part of the management role. This programme focuses on how to make the transition from current to new reality as seamless as possible for all concerned.

FORMAT

One day accelerated workshop followed by post course e-prompts and buddy coaching to help integrate learning into day-to-day behaviours. Practical and interactive. Includes group work and work in pairs.

  • The case for change – why is it so important to our business?
  • What’s changing? - Creating a compelling message and communicating it effectively
  • The expert’s foundations for managing change in self and others
  • How people respond to change – the process and the personalities and how to manage both
  • Identifying how people can help or hinder your change initiative and learning what to do with both
  • Key questions people tend to have
  • Managing the journey

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN DO AS A RESULT

  • Recognise the reasons for constant change in the business
  • Be clear about what needs to change and how to communicate this in everything they do
  • Have a robust set of check-points for any change process to set themselves and their teams up for success
  • Know what to expect at various stages of a natural change process
  • Manage their own emotions during times of change and recognize the emotions of others
  • Get the best out of the people they are leading through the change
  • Effectively manage negative behaviour so that it has as little impact on the success of the change initiative as possible
  • Expect the ‘common questions’ around change and know what to do in response to retain integrity and help people through
  • Know how to develop a plan to get the right information in, put the right communication out and allow for the unknowns that arise
