Andy is a senior training professional with 20 years experience of working with groups and individuals in a variety of settings and at a wide range of levels. He is accredited as a Business Coach with The Institute of Leadership and Management and has worked with a diversity of major companies and organisations such as Orange, Imperial Tobacco, Finning UK, Kingston Communications, The Environment Agency, the Balfour Beatty Group, Scottish Courage and Newage International.
His extensive experience covers the arenas of leadership and management development, teambuilding, managing cultural change, customer service and ‘soft skills’ training, through to executive coaching and personal effectiveness. He is equally comfortable on ‘the shop floor’ as he is at director level and has a proven ability to produce results whatever the context.
He began his career as a teacher, primarily within physical education and sports coaching, and held a number of management roles before changing direction completely and qualifying as a financial adviser. After this he moved into training and development and has since worked both on a consultancy basis and within a major plc.
Andy’s style is upbeat, enthusiastic and personable with a passion that motivates and inspires individuals to positively challenge their own comfort zones.
His focus revolves around providing bespoke development solutions with a basis in personal awareness and self-realisation as the means to achieving growth and progression.
