Bijay has over 20 years experience in the field of diversity and inclusion and is a qualified diversity professional. She has been directly involved in providing a wide range of creative and innovative diversity services to over three thousand individuals in a variety of contexts and more than one hundred organisations including (amongst others) Kent County Council, Essex Police Service, Suffolk Police service, University of London Royal Holloway, Bromley Social Services and the University of Salford
She has extensive experience and has delivered several high profile learning programmes. These include managing workshops and focus groups for senior government officials, including representatives from the police service, Home Office and Criminal Justice Service. A Cornell University Certified Diversity Professional, she has an MA in Applied Social Studies, a BA (Hons) in Sociology and Comparative World Religions, a Diploma in Public Relations and a Certificate in Qualified Social Work.
