Jacqui - the hardest working woman in training
Dedicated, driven and enthusiastic she's one of our most popular trainers and is constantly in demand. She delivers outstanding workshops on a range of topics from customer service and assertiveness skills training to career management and developing people. Up until 2001 Jacqui worked for one of the largest accountancy firms - Deloitte & Touche. In 2001 she made a life changing decision to leave in order to take her passion for training and coaching to new heights. And to date it has been an exciting and successful journey. Her skills are now highly sought after. She'll challenge you, encourage you to explore different options and support you to make practical choices about what will work best. Jacqui's feedback from organisations: Jacqui managed to get the balance of learning and fun just right. The three-day course passed very quickly and at no time did boredom set in. The whole team felt part of the learning process and through Jacqui's help managed to open up and exchange information and experiences.
Jacqui gave very helpful advice which I am now following up. Overall I found Jacqui a very interesting and helpful trainer who made the seminar a worthwhile and enjoyable experience.
Many thanks for facilitating and arranging this excellent staff development day. The feedback that I have had from the delegates has been very positive. There were some refreshing differences to previous team working days with new ideas stimulating new directions of thought. Also I was pleased that we did some practical sessions, which have provided a useful foundation for the preparation of a departmental service plan.
I have spoken to colleagues from other departments about the success of the day and have happily recommended your name to them.
The workshop, on developing management skills, was extremely well received by the delegates. Jacqui is a skilled and experienced training consultant, and her style is very inclusive. From the outset, course delegates feel involved and intrigued. Although making them work hard, Jacqui's approach is lively and interactive and the tasks are enjoyable, so delegates absorb information without realising. At the end of the day's training, our readers were armed not only with a host of practical tools to use once back at their desks, but also - and just as importantly - with the motivation to put them into practice. An extremely successful day for the Network. I would invite Jacqui to run another Network training day without hesitation.
We have now used Jacqui for several training courses here in the Czech Republic. I can state that we have found her a competent and confident facilitator. I can particularly recommend her skills in the following areas: Communication: She proved herself adept at communicating across the different management levels of our organisation. Inclusion: She demonstrated the ability to work with staff and partners from different cultures with differing levels of English.
In addition her courses performed for us are always well prepared and she demonstrates in depth knowledge of whichever subject she is facilitating on.
Jacqui's feedback from individual clients:
I'm ambitious, very analytical and well read in management skills. When I have a problem, I'm impatient with generic training which often offers compromised solutions. After facing redundancy from management consulting, I have had to re-evaluate what I want to do, my skills and regenerate my confidence. Talking with Jacqui Dove has helped me to help myself and addressed some blind spots. She listens, asks insightful questions and gets me to generate practical plans. Crucially, these are tailored to my personality and goals, thus distinguishing her from friends and other supporters.
I had occasion to observe jacqui working with a client whose outcome for the session was to decide on specific actions that he needed to engage in to bring his ideas to fruition. The client was particularly 'big picture'. Jacqui started the session by establishing with the client what he wanted for the session. She gave the client space to explain and firmly but gently got him to specify actions that needed to take place. When the client went into long explanations and woolly language she asked useful questions that took him back into discussion of specific actions.
I was impressed with the way Jacqui worked with this client - she was gently, firm and flexible and throughout the session held the client's agenda. I would certainly recommend Jacqui as a coach.
