| Neuro Linguistic Programming emerges from modelling human behaviours and thought processes. NLP models involve finding how the brain ("Neuro") is operating, by analyzing language patterns ("Linguistic") and non-verbal communication. The results are put into step-by-step strategies or programmes ("Programming") that allow the skills to be transferred to others or different contexts. (Adapted from Dilts, 1998). | ![]() |

This means that if someone displays successful or useful behaviours then others can learn their strategies using NLP without spending a life-time doing so. It is literally about the difference that makes the difference.
